About me

Headshot Richard Clark

Hi, I’m Richard Clark — a dedicated live event production professional with over 20 years of hands-on experience supporting concerts, touring shows, corporate events, theatrical productions, and houses of worship. Based in the northern suburbs of Atlanta, GA, I’ve built a career around helping teams deliver memorable, high-impact experiences through precision audio, video, and lighting support.

Throughout my career, I’ve been involved in more than 2,000 events nationwide — averaging around 50 shows per year for the last 15 years as a freelancer. From small intimate gatherings to large-scale productions, I understand the unique demands of live environments and how to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. My work spans a wide range of venues and event types, which has helped me become highly adaptable and comfortable working under pressure.

You can be assured that whatever position I am on a gig, I use my full knowledge to make the show a success!

I’m passionate about staying current with the latest technology and gear. Whether it’s a new digital console, software integration, or logistical process, I’m always learning and expanding my technical skill set. This ongoing growth allows me to walk into any situation, quickly understand the tools available, and get the job done right.

At the core of my work is a simple philosophy: serve the show and serve the people. My goal is to faithfully translate what’s happening on stage to the audience — cleanly, clearly, and consistently. I bring a "show must go on" mindset to every job, with a focus on preparation, communication, and professionalism.

Whether you need a freelance tech to plug into your team, or a trusted lead to help execute your event, I bring the same level of care and commitment to every show I support. I want you to feel confident that your event is in capable hands — so you can focus on what matters most.

When I’m not on show site, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking local trails, and occasionally chasing adrenaline with a game of paintball.

If you're looking for a seasoned production partner who values quality, integrity, and teamwork — let’s connect.

I’d love to help bring your next event to life.
